Working with goals and the Goal Based Outcome (GBO) tool to enhance clinical practice.

The workshop will focus on the practicalities of collaboration between clinicians, therapists, practitioners and the people and clients we work with. It will draw on participants’ experiences of collaborative practice, shared decision-making (SDM) and working with goals. The session will start by covering some important considerations when working with goals and using the Goal Based Outcome (GBO) tool and move on to explore the difficulties and rewards of client centred approaches. Drawing on the group’s experiences, we will tackle some of the really difficult stuff and come up with solutions to genuine clinical challenges.
